Welcome

Welcome to Raiders of the Bookmark, a blog that will look at old kids books from decades prior. We all grew up with books. Some being classics that stand the test of time, while others are just faded memories, purchased from book fairs many years ago. For almost three years, I've covered many books, mostly the works of R.L. Stine, and I feel it's helped to shape my format of running through a book and giving my general review of them. And over here, I plan to do the same. Reviews will not be every day or even every week, but will still be updated regularly. 

In fact, to celebrate this blog's debut, we'll be starting by doing something I've felt like doing for a while, and that's re-reviewing all sixty-two of the original Goosebumps run and giving them a full treatment similar to The Stinal Countdown re-branding that I started last year. Essentially taking the blogs I started in 2017 and giving them a fresher coat of paint. I also plan to cover other kids book series such as Animorphs, and even delve into stuff even I don't recall reading like The Bailey School Kids, the Wayside books and others. This is a celebration of the written media we consumed as kids and finally be able to see just what really stood the test of time. So get comfy, pull out your favorite bookmark, and let's get reading!
